Firm History

GOLDSTEIN, GOLDSTEIN, RIKON & GOTTLIEB, P.C. is a law firm at the cutting edge of condemnation law. Our firm represents a merger of three of the most skilled and successful law firms practicing condemnation law in America. Samuel Goldstein founded the firm in 1923, establishing a strong tradition of aggressively protecting the constitutional rights of people who have had their property condemned for a public use.

Michael Rikon has been practicing condemnation law and litigation in the New York State Court of Claims since 1969. In July, 1994, Samuel Goldstein and Sons and Michael Rikon, P.C. merged.

On July 1, 2000, Goldstein, Goldstein & Rikon, P.C. merged with Robert S. Gottlieb who has been practicing condemnation law since 1967. Interestingly, Robert and Michael Rikon worked together at the Condemnation Division of the New York City Corporation Counsel during the early part of their careers. The new firm is Goldstein, Goldstein, Rikon & Gottlieb, P.C.

The firm's offices, utilizing the latest in law office technology, are at 80 Pine Street, New York, New York.
